MONDAY, JULY 7TH
Team Manzella vs.
Team Harp
The night’s opener was a battle of stamina as both Teams Manzella and Harp were lacking depth. However it was Team Harp (2-1) with no subs at their disposal that came away with a 69-51 victory over Team Manzella (2-1). Jeff Beadle continued his impressive scoring streak by netting 32 points for Team Harp. Also contributing for the winners was Mike Putney weighing in 19 points. Team Manzella was led by Byron Keyser’s 16 points with Elias Manzella chipping in with 12.
Team Kyser vs.
Team Cuevas
Game 2 of the night featured the blockbuster matchup of Team Kyser and Team Cuevas. Team Kyser (2-1) was looking to remain undefeated but Team Cuevas (2-1) quickly put an end to that, winning a close one right down to the end 55-48. Nate Sanzo and Marcus Cuevas’ 18 and 17 points were too much for the duo of Mitch Kyser and Matt Moore.
