Joseph Millspaw

Chautauqua County resident has been awarded approximately $7,080 per year for the "Presidential Scholarship" to attend Alfred State.

Joseph Millspaw of Findley Lake intends to enroll in the automotive service technician program.

The "Presidential Scholarship" (free room {standard room, double occupancy}) is awarded to students who possess a 91 or better cumulative high school average through their junior year and who have achieved a minimum SAT score of 1200 or a composite ACT score of 26. Recipients must maintain a required grade point average to continue to receive free room in subsequent semesters.

Molly Hindman

Molly Hindman, a sophomore engineering major from Dewittville, has been named to the Fall 2014 Geneva College Dean's List. The Dean's List is a roster of undergraduate students who have achieved high standing in their courses. To be eligible for this recognition, students must earn a GPA of at least 3.6 while passing 12 credit hours or more.

Sawyer E. Tessmer, Samantha Delcamp

The University of Pittsburgh at Bradford has named more than 300 students to its fall Dean's list.

Dean's list status is awarded to full-time students who have earned a grade point average of 3.5 or higher.

Among those named to the Dean's list were: Sawyer E. Tessmer of Ripley and Samantha Delcamp of Sherman.

The University of Pittsburgh at Bradford, founded in 1963, is a safe, friendly institution for students who want to earn a world-renowned degree in a personalized environment.

Stephen Walczak

ASHLAND, Ohio - Stephen Walczak of Sherman, NY, has been accepted to Ashland University for the fall semester of 2015 and will receive the Director's Scholarship for $7,000 annually to attend Ashland.

Walczak is a senior at Sherman Central High School.
